  A large portal website providing links to various websites of interest to the legal profession. Operated by Waterlow, it also allows on-line searching of their database of Solicitors and Barristers.
• UK Statute Law Database
  A new website which has free open access to all UK Primary Legislation online.
• Delia Venable's Legal Resources
  A very useful site providing links to an enormous range of websites with legal information, including many European and International websites, all sensibly categorised. This site should definitely be bookmarked by everyone needing legal information.
• Directgov
  Website of the UK Government. Directgov brings together the widest range of public service information and services online. Produced by the Central Office of Information, Directgov provides information from across UK Government departments.
• Europa
  Website of the European Union containing a huge amount of information on the EU. A useful site to obtain copies of EU Directives, etc. The main problem with the website is that it is so huge often finding what you want is quite difficult. A useful tip is to conduct a search using a few key words, then look at the first few results which come back. Quite often a futher link within one of the resulting documents will take you to the item you are looking for.
• Her Majesty's Courts Service
  Her Majesty's Courts Service brings together on 1st April 2005 the Magistrates' Courts Service and Court Service into one single organisation for the first time. It is an executive agency of the Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA). Their purpose is to deliver justice effectively and efficiently to the public. They are responsible for the administration of the civil, family and criminal courts in England and Wales.

• Linex Legal
  Linex Legal collates and distributes legal information, for the UK and abroad, published by major law firms and government organisations. A selection of free legal updates and reviews and a directory of law firms are made freely available on the site. The site also features a search option to allow finding articles from the last 3 years.
• Northern Ireland Assembly
  Contains details of the work of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
• Office of Public Sector Information
  The Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) is at the heart of information policy, setting standards, providing a practical framework of best practice for opening up and encouraging the re-use of public sector information. It provides a wide range of services to the public, information industry, government and the wider public sector relating to finding, using, sharing and trading information. Part of the Cabinet Office reporting structure it was formerly known as Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO).
• The Scottish Parliament
  Website providing details of the work of the Scottish Parliament including Bills available in PDF format.

  A useful site to obtain full versions of all current Bills going through the Commons and the Lords, as well as copies of judgments of the Law Lords.
